To me, Marnie Pehrson is a hero. Somehow, in a busy, busy world, she has found a healthy work-life balance despite being the mother of six children and running her own highly successful internet marketing business. I appreciate how Marnie openly and gently shares her Christian faith. Each time I hear her speak, I feel the love of God emanating from her. Therefore, in obedience to the Holy Spirit, I dedicate this site to Marnie. In a very short time, Marnie had a profound impact on me. In retrospect, Marnie was my top new contact in 2011.

But they rarely demonstrate exactly how it’s done …

If you took one year off from your business, would it be in the same shape – or better – when you came back? If the answer is no, according to Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, you don’t really have a business, you’ve got a job. There’s no reason your business shouldn’t grow just because you’re not around to tend to it. You simply need to think differently to make that happen.

Don’t get left behind by your colleagues and competitors who are effectively using their blogs to attract qualified leads and opportunities to their business every day. It’s a sad fact. About 98% of the business blogs Denise reviews are crappy. The author may truly be an expert and a fantastic person who gets amazing results for their clients, but they are sabotaging their business with a poorly optimized blog that works against them in so many ways.

Alex Mandossian is one of my favorite Internet marketing heros. He adds enormous value to his followers, modeling the “5 Laws of Stratospheric Success” mentioned in The Go-Giver book by Bob Burg and David Mann.
On Thanksgiving Day I received an email from Alex with a link to his profound, yet simple message below. I think we can all learn and benefit from this example he set. Reflect on what Alex says he learned from each leader.
As Alex suggests, I encourage you to make a list of your Teachers and share …

I’ve been interviewed twice in the last week for articles in trade magazines – one for restaurants and the other for optical professionals in Canada – about using online marketing and social media for locally based businesses (bricks and mortar stores). I tell them if their ideal client/customer/diner/patient cannot find them on the web, it’s like they don’t exist.

During our biweekly Coaches Mastermind Group call this morning, Lynne Lee shared a testimony of how Kevin Nations’ free telecall on October 29 resulted in an immediate and complete mind shift regarding her value and expertise. That in turn resulted in significant financial fruit in less than 24 hours. I experienced something similar. Our Mastermind members requested a link to hear the replay of Kevin’s call. After sending that to them, I was prompted to email each of the Web 2.0 course members to share this blessing.

Social Media Marketing for Businesses is the application and use of Social Media tools such as Blogs, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook etc. to market ones business. It is connecting with clients, customers and users on a personal, yet professional level and allowing them to have direct access to your “voice”. Social Media Marketing business application is to make “Connections” and not just “Transactions!”
